Sales Engineer - Studiotech

STUDIOTECH's main business is engineering, distribution/sales, installation and after-sales servicing of broadcast and professional audio/video equipment. The company also designs and installs turnkey projects such as recording/mixing studios, editing suites and mobile OB units.

Vacancy for Sales Engineer   

Studiotech Belgium is recruiting TWO Sales Engineers (m/f) for our office in Belgium:

• 1 Sales Engineer bilingual in French/Dutch or French/English to be responsible for our French-speaking customers
• 1 Sales Engineer bilingual in Dutch/French or Dutch/English to be responsible for our Dutch-speaking customers

Knowledge of French or Dutch is mandatory. Knowledge of English at an intermediate level is appreciated.

Qualifications:

• At least five years’ experience in the audiovisual (audio and/or video) sector
• University degree in Sales, Engineering or other relevant field. A Master’s degree specialising in Sales is a plus
• Competent computer skills
• Sense of responsibility, able to take initiative
• Conscientious, dynamic, reliable and punctual
• Flexible and results orientated
• Disciplined, organised and stress resistant
• Talent for selling, hardworking, convincing and determined
• Ability to work alone whilst having good team spirit
• Strong business skills and excellent ability to communicate
• Successful sales record

Duties:

• Understanding customer needs and preparing quotations that meet their requirements
• Generating customer loyalty, developing lasting professional relationships, following-up offers/orders, visiting customers and participating in various trade exhibitions
• Finding new customers, offering them our products, negotiating and monitoring contracts
• Giving technical support to customers, advising to help their choice of product
• Achieving targets while conveying a positive and dynamic company image
