Software Engineer - Anankei

Are you a code wizard, with exceptional VB6 skills?
For a client in Melsele, we are looking for a developer with an expertise in VB6.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Developing new program code
- Refining existing code
- You'll analyse customer requirements
- And create technical design specifications

You will analyse, develop and test programmatical solutions on projects and technical support issues for Medication Management Software.
The Software Engineer will be able to guide Junior Developers through complex developments and will be able to technically specify (design) developments for the Junior Developers where necessary.
Knowledge of VB6 is essential to support and maintain legacy code alongside more Object-Oriented languages (e.g. C#).

Vereisten

We are looking for:

- A bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, or another science/technology related subject.
- Fluent in English. Dutch and French are a big plus.
- 10+ years of experience in VB6 (and any of VB.NET, C# or C++)
- Experience as a Business/functional Analyst
